Update (0.1.1)


Wing's latest update is live!

The highlight of this update is major upgrades to movement, building off what was fun in the prototype. It also includes other fun things, like basic control re-binding.

Here are the full patch notes:

  • Added new movement
    • Combined Glide and Dive (removing Dive input)
    • Added Smoosh mechanic
    • Flapping balance adjustments (changed timing method, made character more floaty)
    • New action interactions to gain speed
  • Adjusted upward transitions
  • Expanded menu system
    • Basic control rebinding
    • Volume control
    • Confirmation boxes when resetting/quitting
    • Persistent settings
  • Room layouts adjusted
  • Speedrun timer now runs in menus
    • Changed format to “hours : minutes : seconds . milliseconds”
  • General bug fixes

What's Next?

My next goal is to determine the best way to secure funding for Wing.
